Bawsala, in cooperation with Al-Bayan Centre for Studies and Planning, held a dialogue session entitled: “Overlapping Powers in Local Government. Legislative and Executive”.
The session, held in Najaf governorate on 16 September, discussed ways to reduce the overlap of powers between the legislative and executive branches of local government.
The session is part of the Strengthening Justice in Iraq campaign launched by Al-Bayan Centre for Studies and Planning and is part of the Together to Enhance Justice II project.
