The Executive Director of Al-Bayan Center for Planning and Studies, Dr. Ali Taher Al-Hammood, received the President of the Syrian “Dimensions for Strategic Studies” Mr. Mohammad Al-Sarmini, and his accompanying delegation.
The two sides discussed the developments of the Syrian situation and the possibility of the intervention of study centers and researchers in the second track to contribute to bringing closer the views of regional decision-makers in the Syrian crisis.
The two sides agreed to sign a memorandum of understan that includes the establishment of activities, capacity building, and continuous communication on the most important issues occurring in Syria, Iraq, and the region.
The two sides also discussed an agreement that includes writing research papers on local and regional affairs.
