Al-Bayan Center for Studies and Planning held a discussion session titled: “After the American Treasury sanctions: What is possible in Iraq”.
The session was attended by members of the Finance Committee, the Oil and Natural Resources Committee, advisors to the President, and a group of academics and researchers specializing in international and economic relations.
The session discussed the measures taken by the Iraqi Parliament as well as the diplomatic efforts of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while also identifying many challenges and proposals for dealing with the American sanctions.
Al-Bayan Center will adopt a paper based on the outcomes of this session, which will be directed to decision-makers and stakeholders.
