The Bayan Center for Studies and Planning participated in a meeting addressing climate security in Iraq.
The representative of the Bayan Centre, Director of the Department of Social Studies, Dr. Ahmed Khudair, attended the meeting in Erbil at the invitation of the German Peace Tracks and Berhoff institutions, where representatives of international institutions, environment officials, climate specialists, activists and researchers in these areas attended.
The session addressed the most important climate policies and agreements, the international commitments that Iraq has to implement, as well as the challenges facing the country in this regard.
