Al-Bayan Center for Planning and Studies received a delegation of the “PACS for Peacebuilding” Organization at its headquarters in Baghdad.
The director of the organization in Iraq, Vincent Verhoeff, gave an explanation of the work of “PACS” in the areas of capacity building, protection of minorities, and community work with young people in the liberated provinces.
For his part, the Managing Director of Al-Bayan Center, Dr. Ali Taher Alhammood, praised the organization’s work, pointing to the center’s readiness to train groups that have already received initial training in the field of human rights in writing reports and policy studies. In addition to the center’s desire to contribute to providing consultations related to improving the conditions of citizens in the liberated areas, and participating in peace-building programs.
