Al-Bayan Center for Planning and Studies in the capital, Baghdad, hosted a delegation from the French Development Agency, AFD, to examine opportunities for cooperation and partnership in the economic development sector.
Dr. Ali Taher Alhammood and Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Mashhadani of Al-Bayan Center, while the French agency represented by both; Catherine Bonnaud, Director of the Middle East of the Agency, CLAEYMAN Leonie, Director of Programs at the Agency, and Frédéric TURLIN, Director of the Iraq and Jordan Section of the Agency.
While the French agency consulted the expertise of Al-Bayan Center on several issues relating to the realities of the Iraqi economy, the meeting discussed opportunities for economic development and public and private sector building in a way that reflected positively on Iraqi citizens.
