Al-Bayan Center hosted a delegation form the British Embassy for a discussion of political developments and prospects for cooperation on programs that might enhance the economic and security situation in Iraq.
Mechanisms for improving the economic situation were discussed. Issuing visa electronically, promoting the banking sector in Iraq, enhancing the performance of Investment Committees (both national and provincial ones), and other possible solutions that could help in creating an attractive investment environment in a way that absorb unemployment and spur economic growth.
Maintain the security situation, which has improved lately by large extent, through the development of local indicators for mentoring and reporting security situation in areas susceptible to terrorism.
Al-Bayan Center asserted his commitment to issuing political, economic, and security related studies that address the challenges that face the Iraqi government with the aim of consolidating its economy and maintaining security gains.
