Al-Bayan Center hosted a delegation from the British parliament for a discussion on developments in Iraq and prospects of long-term stability in the country.
The delegation, led by Baroness Joyce Anelay, included members of the House of Lords and House of Commons. Discussions ranged from the experience of the Iraqi Army in fighting terrorism and its perception among local communities, to the imperative of modernizing the public sector and rooting out corruption.
Al-Bayan Center works to advance public policy in Iraq by engaging with experts and practitioners in order to address the country’s most pressing developmental needs.
